- stands up on my lap and bops her head all around
- talks to things with contrasting colors and bold patterns, like the blanket hanging over the armchair in her room
- coos and talks to us
- sleeps with her head to the left - one hand near her mouth, the other "twirling her hair" in the back (she doesn't have much hair!
- spits up when you look at her the wrong way =(
- kicks and kicks
- squirms - gets herself all turned around in her crib
- frowns when Dylan makes a loud noise, but when he's near she smiles the biggest
- grabs at things and bops things with her hands
As far as a routine, she has a bit of one but it's been hard to stay consitent with a timeline. She wakes between 7-730, eats again around 10, then it's a little shady after that (typically 1, 4, 6, 9ish) The late evening feeding is a toughy - sometimes she's out cold and I just let her go - she wakes around 2am then can go until about 5:30. She has had some long stretches of sleep - I just have to be a little more consistent so those stretches are at night!
Jocelyn is a light sleeper during the day for naps and doesn't typically nap longer than an hour, unless we are out and she's in her carseat. She was sleeping in a baby seat with a 45 degree incline exclusively, but now she's back in the crib.
Overall, Joss is really quiet which is really nice. She rarely cries, and when she does it's more of a peep, like a little bird! She's a real sweetheart and I love spending time with her!

Hi! I found your blog through Megan Belote. I love seeing what other families with new babies are up to. You might want to look up "preauricular pit" and see if that is what your daughter's little birthmark is on her ear. My oldest daughter has one too and it turned out to be a pit. She hasn't had any major problems with it, but it did get red and weird one time when she had an ear infection. Just thought I would tell you since I had never heard of them either.
